What is Eyebrow Embroidery ?

What kind of eyebrow suits you

Eyebrow Embroidery is a form of semi-permanent make up where pigments safe for the skin are inserted into layers beneath the skin with tiny disposable needles. This technique is highly popular in recent years with its ability to create fuller-looking brows and a more desirable brow shape.

The embroidered brows stay on averagely from 12 to 18 months without the need to shape them every morning. As a lot of ladies are frustrated with balancing their eyebrows daily, having a pair of nicely shaped eyebrows that does not wash off is a major reason why ladies are literally queuing up to get their semi permanent eyebrows done.

Personalised Eyebrow Embroidery Process

In Dreamlash, we take pride in providing personalised treatment for each and every client. We are committed to ensure that you achieve your perfect brows in the most comfortable environment.

  • Before recommending a treatment, our brow artist will check for your medical conditions, introduce the semi permanent makeup techniques as well as understand your specific preferences.
  • Your eyebrows will be trimmed and designed to the desired shape.
  • To ensure comfort throughout the process, numbing cream will be applied onto your brows at least 15 mins prior to the insertion of pigment.
  • Relax while our brow artist inserts the pigments into your skin with disposable needles. While most of our clients experience little to no pain, you can always ask for more numbing gel to be applied to keep the process pleasant!

FAQs For Eyebrow Embroidery

Most people are suitable for Eyebrow Embroidery. Whether you have oily skin, dry skin or sensitive skin, you should still be eligible for Eyebrow Embroidery.

Please note that you must let your brow artist know about your skin condition (if any) prior to your treatment.

In 7-10 days. Your skin will dry up and the scabs will start to peel off. During this period, your brows may feel itchy. It is recommended not to peel it by hand but let the scabs drop by itself

After your treatment, your skin should heal in 25 to 30 days. It might feel a bit painful during the first night. Your brows will look dark at the first 2 days because the ink is still fresh, and it may start to scab from day 3. You might notice the brow color will look a bit uneven, this is perfectly normal due to the uneven healing of your skin before revealing the final color.

We've written an article on what you can expect during the healing process.

  • Avoid getting the area wet. Keep them dry for 3-5 days

  • Avoid going under strong hot sun for long hours.

  • Do not use any other ointment or lotion on your brows

  • Apply healing cream provided, twice a day, for at least one week

  • Do not apply makeup or skin care products for at least 2 weeks after Eyebrow Embroidery treatment. This will prevent infection.

  • Do not touch, pick or peel off the scabs

There is no need for shaving your natural brow. Your brow artist would try to keep as much of the natural brow as possible, they will only remove those brow hairs that fall outside the ideal shape

The touch up is done within 3 months from your first session. The purpose of a touch-up session is to allow your brow artist to fill in any remaining gaps and add a second colour to boost the shape and add dimension to the overall effect. It’s essentially the same procedure with microblading but on a smaller scale where brow artists will fill in any remaining gaps instead of the whole brow.
